Sala, 28, was making a trip to Cardiff in a plane guided by David Ibbotson, which disappeared over the English Channel on 21 January.
The Argentine’s body was recouped late on Wednesday after the destruction was found on Sunday morning.
Dorset Police affirmed the ID on Thursday night.
In an announcement, the power stated: “The body conveyed to Portland Port today, Thursday 7 February 2019, has been formally recognized by HM Coroner for Dorset as that of expert footballer Emiliano Sala.
“The groups of Mr Sala and the pilot David Ibbotson have been refreshed with this news and will keep on being bolstered by exceptionally prepared family contact officers.”
The body was seen in the destruction of the plane on Monday and the specialists could recuperate it two days after the fact, regardless of “difficult conditions”.
