Four insurgent Facebook groups banned in Myanmar

Facebook is making a move in Myanmar, the Southeast Asian nation where the informal community has been utilized to impel racial strain and viciousness, after it restricted four outfitted gatherings from its administration.

The U.S. organization said in a blog entry that it has booted the agitator and guerilla gatherings — the Arakan Army (AA), the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), Kachin Independence Army (KIO) and the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) — and that “all related applause, backing and portrayal” will be evacuated.

The gatherings are among the numerous Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) that exist in Myanmar, which was under military principle until decisions in 2015 mostly opened the nation.
